Frequently Asked Questions
What should I use to clean my car ?
You can use normal Shampoo but we recommend you use our quality G-3 car shampoo which is available from your nearest dealer. Well maintained car washes are not a problem either, just remember to take the cheapest programme! No need to take the expensive cycle.
How often should I clean or wax my car ?
There is no need to wax your vehicle for 5 years once G-3 Glasscoat has been applied, just take reasonable care of your car, wash it when it's dirty and use the Bird dropping remover to clean off those marks.
Do I need to have it reapplied every year?
No it's truly "fit and forget" no reapplication and inspection hassles.
Can I use a jet wash on my car
Yes, using a jet wash will not affect the performance of the G-3 Glasscoating.

Is it safe to use hand wash centres?
Perfectly safe, G-3 Glasscoat is extremely resilient to the effects of solvents.
Where can I get the shampoo to use on my car?
We recommend using the G-3 car shampoo available from your local dealer but you will also be fine using any other leading car shampoo. We don't recommend you use washing up liquid some of them contain lots of salt to make the "bubbles" - not good for corrosion.
How quickly should I remove bird droppings?
Preferably before deposits become baked on. If you find any baked on deposits, repeatedly soak the dropping using G-3 Bird Dropping Remover. Deposits will simply ease off. Don't scrape off dry droppings - the gritty bits will damage the surface.
Can G-3 Glasscoat be applied to a used vehicle?
Yes, the G-3 Glasscoat can be applied to a used vehicle.
Will G-3 protect the interior of my vehicle?
Yes, G-3 Carpet and Fabric Protector's hypoallergenic formula coats the interior of the vehicle providing a hard wearing stain barrier to protect against spillages and assist in preventing the aggravation of allergies.
